I serve this smoothie during the holiday season to my family and guests. Just because it may be cold out doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy this heart-healthy drink that includes the star of the season, pumpkin and pomegranates!!

Pumpkin is filled with potassium, fiber, and Vitamin C, all which supports heart health.

Pomegranates have been eaten throughout history for their health benefits. High in Vitamin C, is a powerful anti-inflammatory, helps aid in digestion and many, many more health benefits, including heart health!

A little secret for the grown-ups, if you want to, add a splash of rum!

Serves 4


2 frozen bananas

6 ice cubes

1 cup canned pure pumpkin, not the seasoned one for pies

1-cup fresh orange juice

1-teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon Stevia

4 Tablespoons dairy-free Coconut Whip Cream

2 Tablespoons Pomegranate seeds


1 Tablespoons Orange Zest

Pinch of cinnamon & ground nutmeg



Place the first 6 ingredients into a blender for 2 minutes until smooth.

Pour evenly into 4 chilled glasses and garnish with Coco whip, sprinkle on a few Pomegranates per serving, orange zest, cinnamon & nutmeg!

Serve immediately!
